Complete the form and upload clear images of the item or collection you are considering selling. For collections, overview photographs are useful as a first step.

We review the photographs and information provided. Depending on the object, we may request additional images, dimensions, documentation or photographs of particular details.

If the object or collection is of interest, we will contact you directly to discuss it further.

If an agreement is reached, we will explain the appropriate payment, documentation and shipping process. Larger or particularly important collections can be handled individually.

What should i send?

You do not need to prepare a professional catalogue.

Please provide whatever information you have available, such as:

Dimensions
Artist or maker, if known
Signatures and inscriptions
NBTHK or NTHK certificates
Other certificates or documentation
Original boxes or storage cases
Provenance or previous ownership
Known purchase history
General condition

If you know very little about the object, clear photographs are usually the most useful starting point.

Japanese swords with NBTHK or NTHK certificates

If your Japanese sword or sword fitting has documentation from the NBTHK, NTHK or another recognised Japanese organisation, please include clear photographs of the certificate.

These documents may contain important information concerning attribution, period, school or authenticity.

You can also send Japanese documentation even if you cannot read or translate it.

I had been looking for a tachi with a lot of curvature for a long time and I called Supein Nihonto. They didn't have any tachi with the sori I was looking for, but I was treated with a lot of love and professionalism and we were talking for a long time. The next day I received a call from the shop, telling me that they had received new swords and that there was a tachi with a lot of sori. That same afternoon he already had a lot of photos of the sword and its measurements. I found the price good, especially if I compared it to other Spanish sellers of Nihonto. The shipment took a day and the package arrived in perfect condition, as the person in charge of the packaging puts a lot of effort into the work and the result is a strong packaging.
