This fantastic Edo period XVIII-XIX century armour has recently been on display at the Geisha and samurai exhibition at the Martorell Palace in Barcelona, Spain. A wonderful opportunity to get your hands on a fantastic exhibition piece with its full colour catalogue of pieces included with more than 200 pages. You can look for information on the web as there are many articles and reports dedicated to this exhibition which has been open to the public for more than 6 months and has been extended several times thanks to the great reception it has had and which has been featured on several television and newspapers and sponsored by the city council of Barcelona.

Gusoku Kawari kabuto. This armor includes the box and mounting structure. Fantastic Edo period armor in excellent condition. All the elements of this armor make it one of the best choices. From the fantastic kawari kabuto in the shape of a pheasant, made of metal and covered with lacquer, as well as its fantastic and uncommon colors, besides its almost pristine condition. Undoubtedly a piece worthy of the best museums. Includes a flag (of later period) as well as a bamboo banner and a banner holder. A spectacular piece that will delight any professional or amateur collector. Undoubtedly belonging to a feudal lord of great economic power, probably custom made by a descendant. The Kabuto is an almost exact replica of the Kabuto carried by Matsudaira Hideyasu (1574-1607) son of Tokugawa Ieyasu (pictured attached).

There is a very ancient object with some damage or repairs, something more than understandable in very old pieces made for combat. Due to the delicacy of continuous assembly and disassembly, returns are not allowed on old armor.
